Open your old version of the app in the browser. Open browser Developer Tools (press F12), go to the Console tab, paste the following command and press Enter:
Click the textarea above to select the command. Copy and paste it into the Console. The browser will show a long text string โ copy that entire string.
Paste the copied data string below and click Import:
After importing, go to the Dashboard or Projects page to confirm all your data has transferred correctly. Your projects, invoices, and email history should all be present.
Before importing, you can backup your current data:
This downloads an Excel file with the correct column headers. Open it in Excel/Google Sheets, fill your old data row by row, then come back and upload it.
Optional columns: Quotation No., Project Name, Project Type, Value, Status, PO Received, Date, Categories (comma-separated), Client Email, Drive Link, Notes
Once you've filled the template, upload it here. All rows will be imported as projects (no emails sent).

Set how often you want the app to remind you to back up.
- Go to console.firebase.google.com
- Click Add project โ name it "Mars Electrical" โ click Continue โ Create project
- On the project homepage, click the </> Web icon to add a web app
- Give it a nickname (e.g. "Mars App") โ click Register app
- You'll see a firebaseConfig block โ copy these values into the fields above:
apiKey: "AIzaSy..." โ paste in API Key
projectId: "mars-electrical-xxx" โ paste in Project ID
appId: "1:xxx:web:xxx" โ paste in App ID - In Firebase Console โ left menu โ Build โ Realtime Database
- Click Create Database โ choose any location โ Start in Test mode โ Enable
- Copy the database URL (looks like
